Since we founded in 2014, EDIWOOD Cabinet Makers Ltd has been a trusted and reliable provider of bespoke furniture. Our workshop in Eskbank, Dalkeith is fully equipped to handle any design-and-make project, no matter how complex. We're uncompromising with every aspect of our craft - from the design and selection of materials to the finished product. Our team has specialist skills in hand made furniture, kitchens, bookcases, libraries and wardrobes making us the perfect choice for private homes, contract spaces, bars, and restaurants. Whatever your needs may be, we can provide a range of wood finishes including lacquers, oils, and stains as well as spray paint finishes.

Zoltan Erdei
Founder and Managing Director of EDIWOOD
Zoltan graduated from his cabinet maker studies in 1996 and gained valuable experience working with smaller companies. In 2004, he established his own first business, with the Hungarian Ministry of Finance as one of his key clients, along with numerous retail and residential customers.
Fourteen years ago, Zoltan moved to Scotland, following his heart. He then worked as a finishing joiner for two years before establishing EDIWOOD in 2014. A proud father of two wonderful children, he enjoys spending time with his family, boating, and walking through the woods whenever he's away from the workshop.
With 30 years of experience, Zoltan is a highly skilled and qualified cabinet maker and furniture restorer, specializing in intricate wooden furniture and antique restoration.
